Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is a joint civil–military airport serving Savannah, Georgia, and the Hilton Head Island resort area in South Carolina. The airport is known for its compact size, friendly service, and efficient operations, making it easy to navigate even during peak travel seasons. SAV has a single terminal with two concourses (A and B), offering jet bridges at most gates and short walking distances throughout the building.

The airport is served by major U.S. airlines, including American, Delta, United, Southwest, JetBlue and others, offering nonstop service to numerous domestic hubs and seasonal routes to vacation destinations. Passengers benefit from plentiful parking, on-site rental cars, and a terminal decorated with Savannah’s signature squares and garden-style features, giving it a local character. SAV also hosts 165th Airlift Wing of the Georgia Air National Guard, sharing runways with military operations while maintaining full commercial service.

Located just off Interstates I-95 and I-16, the airport offers fast access to downtown Savannah (about 15–20 minutes by car) and to beaches and resorts along the Georgia and South Carolina coast.
